Located in Scott, Louisiana, IPL was founded in 2003 by owners Robert Sonnier and Eric Vidrine who both gained many years of invaluable experience at several national pharmaceutical companies before establishing their own business. From the very beginning, IPL was dedicated to creating new, better and more cost-efficient ways to meet the unique pharmaceutical and medical supply needs of medical institutions.
The Solution
Personal sales takes salespeople to every corner of the market where the status quo is printed leave-behinds. When Institutional Pharmacies of Louisiana (IPL) decided it needed to add a digital dimension to compliment their traditional activity at trade shows, Firefly prescribed a new digital strategy – extend IPL’s presentation materials to tablet devices.
In addition to a new set of sales brochures, Firefly designed we designed and produced an app that transformed the digital slide presentation used at their booth and in the keynote for use on tablet devices. This leveraged IPL’s sales materials to extend its use into IPL’s day-to-day sales activities via digital tablets.
Firefly worked with Institutional Pharmacies of Louisiana to create a professional web presence for IPL by adapting their brand and content to a premium parallax theme. This modern website helped identify their target market and provided a high-level understanding of the products and services offered. Metrics were provided for measuring the site’s activity so that SEO could be implemented and improved according to the traffic the website received. The final result offers users a platform that is engaging, balanced, organized and functional.
