The Firefly process is a hybrid process taken from the advertising agency and software worlds. We've innovated this new process to provide the best results, within a defined time frame and within a defined budget.
Here's how we work:

Assess
Assessment occurs in the initial meetings and proposal development stage. It often extends into the very early stage of the project as details are decided on following acceptance of the proposal.
The Firefly Project Brief document is used to capture the important details of this process and to communicate among the team. It serves as the foundation of the marketing approach, design concept and technology solution.
Plan
Planning begins once a project is initiated. The project is divided into manageable components. A detailed requirements document is developed and a production schedule is created.
Design
Design takes place on two levels. Firefly's graphic design team develops the look-and-feel, while our analyst develops the technology, or application architecture and requirements documentation.
At this point the client is presented the design concept (graphical) and application design documentation (technical) for review and approval.
Production
Production of the graphics, web pages, databases and applications begins once the client approves designs. This stage includes delivery of content elements for integration into the site.
As the site materializes, clients may observe the progress via Firefly's extranet. Firefly provides a user name and password for each client to login and view progress. At strategic points in the process, Firefly will release areas for review and approval.
Testing
Testing occurs in stages as areas of the site are completed. Firefly conducts two types of testing; component testing and system testing. Component testing focuses on the applications created. When the applications have been integrated into the website, the site is tested as a system.
At various points in the production stage, Firefly will release areas of the site for review, testing and comments by the client.
Launch. Measure. Improve.
Once a website project has been reviewed and approved, the site is launched for public access. Firefly has developed a set of reports that enable clients to monitor and analyze results. This information is designed for continuous improvement.
Firefly's Website Gadget® provides a simple means for clients to monitor, analyze and improve their website.
