Slemco

SLEMCO has succeeded as an electric utility for nearly 75 years because of sound business decisions and wise investments in plants and personnel. This powerful entity provides electricity to more than 98,000 customers within nine parishes in Louisiana. They are a co-op as opposed to a company which means that the customers are also part owners in the company.

Community involvement has always been important to SLEMCO to improve the quality of life for customers and other members of the community. Firefly's goal with this new site was to highlight some of the community involvement as well as provide a site relevant to its customers and prospective customers.
