Lafayette Parish School System Launches New Website for the New School Year.

The Lafayette Parish School System is Louisiana's 7th largest public school system, serving more than 30,000 students.  LPSS is a long time client of Firefly's and for the 2009 school year launched a new website design.

This design consists of a simplistic layout for easy organization for lots of information, beautiful flash animation to accentuate the design with photos of real LPSS students as well as great applications such as calendars, news and event announcements that make the website a true asset to the school system and its employees as well as the students and parents. 

Lafayette Parish School System also came to Firefly to create a custom web portal for use by its students, teachers and parents.  iLPSS as it is called is a brand new way to organize information from the LPSS website as well as information about your school.  Parents, students and teachers can add pages, add content to their pages in the form of widgets as well as move that content around to accommodate their needs and preferences. iLPSS and the LPSS website were based solely on the user's experience, making retrieving information easier, faster and in a way that was more efficient than through the old website.
